Expenses requested to be covered by the conservation interns
- Contribution fee for room & board at Kaman
- US$10 per day (7 days a week)
- Visa fee
- Varies with nationality
- Residence Fee (Turkish government fee)
- Varies with nationality (expected to be betw. US$ 150-200)
- Inland transportation cost either in Turkey and home country
- Approx. US$ 20-40 in Turkey
- Any kind of expenses involving the JIAA such as postal fees, photographs for application forms, bank charges for wiring the stipends and wiring the reimbursements for airfare to the students
- Accommodation fee for the apartment in Ankara (if necessary) in the event the arrival or departure times in Ankara do not coincide with the Kaman bus schedule
- US$ 20 per night (weekends are counted as one)
JIAA provides a stipend of US$40 per day based on a 6 day work week for the interns and airfare to and from Turkey. (Please be aware that the JIAA will cover the cost of the most economical ticket itinerary only and this will be wired to the students as reimbursement after the students have paid for their tickets.)
